Brian has not only served his country in the Canadian forces but is currently an Ottawa police officer. His life has been devoted to helping others including his wife Natalie and their one year old daughter Sophi. It is no secret, ALS is terminal, and his family will need our help!

As Brian succumbs to the effects of the neuro-degenerative disease of ALS, he and his family will need to face great challenges with courage and bravery. in the coming months and years, there will be a significant need for support and assistance from Brian’s friends and community. This fundraising event is one way we can all show our love and compassion for Brian and his family. Let’s make it a night to remember!

For the first time, the Sal Piamonte Band will be celebrating the release of the new “FREE MONEY” album in O-Town!  Not only is that a first, but it will also be the band’s first time performing at the legendary Tuscon’s Roadhouse!!!  Tickets are $8 and the show starts at 9:30 PM!!!  …but don’t come late, cuz it’ll be a busy night, not to mention, that if you come early enough, you could enjoy some of Tuscon’s great food and beverages…..make a night out of it already!!!

Sal Piamonte Band @ Tuscon's in Ottawa July 9th!!!

So here’s the deal…what if you could have an original and professional touring Rock N’ Roll band perform at your house, backyard, basement, birthday party, bachelor party, favourite bar, grandma’s place..lol..wherever, for only $600 and a maybe some bbq’d food so the band could eat???…this is NO joke people… Although it may sound absurd and crazy to many of you, the whole Sal Piamonte Band team is so stoked about all of the new happenings surrounding the new “Free Money” album that we thought we’d take this STRAIGHT to our fans all over North America! This “LIVING ROOM TOUR” is aiming to take place between the last couple of weeks of July and during the month of August this summer. No need to drive hours and hours, like our fans from Pittsburgh and Philly do for every Toronto show we play…WE’LL COME TO YOU!!!…

What’s even better, is that as you can tell, the band is NOT doing this for the money-OBVIOUSLY….For $600, you cover gas and minor expenses, food feeds the band, and “possible” accomodations (aka/a room and a place we can shower other than just on the tour bus)…WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO MAKE MONEY ON US!!!…Think about it, YOU throw yourself an amazing summer party…think cottage party people…and you sell tickets at whatever price you wanna sell them…YOU WILL COVER $600 IN NO TIME, AND THEN SOME!!!…AND YOU CAN KEEP THE OVERFLOW FOR YOURSELVES!!!…We just want to expand our fanbase and get our message out, and do what NO OTHER ROCK N’ ROLL BAND HAS DONE BEFORE….COME STRAIGHT TO OUR FANS-NO BULLSHIT, NO LIES…

We are already negotiating 7 different dates from Florida, USA, to Quebec, Canada, and many places in between…this is REALLY HAPPENING PEOPLE so let us come and ENTERTAIN YOU!!!!!! When you book, we only ask for a partial deposit up front, and a locked in date so that we can plan the tour properly and efficiently! I just wanted to let you all know that we have a show coming up in Ottawa this Thursday at Maverick’s…We are opening up the set for White Cowbell Oklahoma, and this is going to be a FULL night of Rock N’ Roll… I know it’s a Thursday night, but Friday is a slack day anyways…so who cares, right?!?…lol…not to mention…it’s Hallowe’en weekend for crying out loud!!!..

…How many more reasons can I give you people! Okay…how about this…we will be showcasing ALL of the new material from the new album….that includes the lead single “1000 Miles,” for which we just shot a video for over the weekend with director Adrian Langley and his awesome crew, as well as the song “Ain’t No Time (Like A Good Time),” whose video can be seen at:

Let us just say that this is going to be a lot of fun and although these shoots do get repetitive and long at times, beverages and snacks (sandwiches, veggies, etc) will be provided, and the way things have been hyping up in anticipation of Sal’s new album (FREE MONEY-to be released November 2009), you might just find yourselves Rockin‘ it out on tv and internet really soon!..lol

Okay, so Adrian Langley (www.adrianlangley.net), the video director, and Sal, have asked for us to fill you in on some very important details regarding the video shoot, so here they are:

Date: Saturday, October 24th, 2009

Location: Maverick’s Bar (www.mavericksbar.com) (221 Rideau Street, Ottawa, ON)

Time: Please arrive between 11 and 11:30 AM if possible, but please no later than noon! Shoot is booked to take place between 11 AM and 6 PM (although it could be shorter if all goes well!)

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

–>We’re looking for stylish, SEXY, WILD, Rock’n'Roll attire and attitude (…YES USE YOUR IMAGINATION, AND BY ALL MEANS, FEEL FREE TO BE BRAVE AND RISQUE IF YOU DARE!..lol)..a few options doesn’t hurt either so feel free to pack a few extras!

–>We encourage EACH and EVERYONE of you to stand out-take advantage of the theatrical ability you have on screen

–>We are striving to make for an eye-popping crowd scene (while band is performing) and to maximize your screen time, so you gotta give’r and rock out like you are having the time of your lives!  Besides, the band and the production crew are all super fun and we are all so appreciative for your participation!!!

–>Please fill out the attached consent form and bring it with you to the shoot on Saturday!…DON’T FORGET! …and if you bring a friend/friends, please let us know and make sure they sign a separate consent form too!

ONE MORE THING:

–>We might be looking for a few of you sexy gals to maybe participate in some other scenes (still to be determined).  If this happens, it will either take place Friday night and/or Sunday during the day kinda thing.  If you are available and are interested, please let us know your availability in the event that Adrian decides to use you in some extra scenes!
